This poem was written not only to remind us that various situations in life will cause us to cry, but also that we may
remember that pain is universal. It doesn't matter how different we are from one another (e.g race, gender,
culture, social standing, etc)...we all feel pain and we all cry the same tears. I extend my arms to those who have suffered
and remind you that we were all created by the same God who will comfort us all in our time of need. PLEASE ADD

So
Many Tears Look there in my tears, there is pain,
there is sorrow Look there in my tears, is my hope for tomorrow Those crystal clear drops, heavy with a quiet smell Narrating the stories I never could tell They shimmer with such sentiment, looking for relief Running down my
face as though running from their grief Look there in my tears, I see mankind’s reflection Though we are all
so different, our tears are the exception Can it be that my tears are the same as the lames’? The same tears
of the violent, the same tears of the insane? The same tears of the lonely, those with hearts shattered? The same
tears of the hungry, tears of a child battered? The tears of the poor, the tears of the slave? The tears of the
brave, the tears of the saved? The tears of a bride on her magical, special day? The tears of those who mourn the
loss of someone dear The tears of those who live enclosed in their own fears The tears of a woman agonizing in labor
but destined To keep pushing past the tears until she receives her blessing? And then a sudden transition of tears
turning from bitter to sweet Look there in my tears, my victory is complete So many people, so many tears, all so unique And yet so many
tears, and they’re all the same So many different pictures held in the same frame I wonder if somehow all
of the world’s tears were gathered Would we be able to tell who’s tears were sadder? Would it even matter,
since it’s universal to feel pain? And despite all of our differences, our tears are all the same So many
tears
