Walking Maris' Way is a short film which depicts the life of a Latino Female detective in NYC. Detective Maris Ortiz truly sets herself apart from the typical stereotype of what a law enforcement agent is in today’s society. She has a genuine heart and is devoted to making a difference in the lives of others by taking on the role of a superhero in her own right. Her self-worth however is shaken when she responds to a call that results in a fatality.
